The TPN Annual Awards have celebrated logistics companies with the very highest performance rates in the UK this week.
The usual Annual Awards event, which takes place in conjunction with the network’s Spring Gala, was forestalled by the Covid19 lockdown. However, TPN MD Mark Duggan decided that excellence in a network which has continued to deliver both in terms of quantity of freight and quality of performance during the national crisis should be publicly recognised.
“It’s more important than ever to celebrate excellence in logistics,” he says. “Despite the difficulties of lockdown and the challenges facing keyworkers such as ours, our network has not missed a beat. The operational excellence of these TPN Members is exactly what has allowed them to continue serving the UK economy flawlessly.”

Best New Member Award – this recognises the highest performing member in their first year of membership with TPN.
Winner: Spartan Distribution
Regional Business Development Awards: These recognise those members who have continuously striven to develop their businesses across all areas including growth, performance and processes while driving up service standards.
Operational Excellence Award: This recognises those Members who achieved a score above 99% at the first attempt during their annual ISO:9001 TPN Audit. This is a fantastic achievement as the audit becomes tougher every year. The winners are:
Input Depot of the Year Award: this recognises a depot which has demonstrated continued, sustainable and profitable growth throughout the year.
Winner: FDC Holdings
Delivery Depot of the Year Award: this recognises the depot with the best delivery performance statistics, taking into account the volumes delivered and the area covered.
Winner: Leeds Parcel Company
Regional Depot of the Year Awards: These are special awards because the selected depots have been chosen by their peers as the best depots in their regions. You, their fellow Members, have told us they are supportive, collaborative, helpful and professional. The winners are:
TPN Hub Recognition Award: All TPN teams are excellent and contribute hugely to the excellence of the network. However, the tireless efforts and professionalism of one team cried out for recognition. The winner is:

Outstanding Development Award: This recognises a member who has not only significantly developed their business, but has worked with the network to embrace new challenges and opportunities.

Elite Performance Awards: Earlier this year we celebrated 24 of our Members who had achieved a staggering 99%+ performance across all KPIs throughout 2019. The three highest scoring Members are our Elite Performance Award winners. They are:
TPN Depot of the Year 2020. This is the highest accolade in the network awards. Voted for by the Members and selected from the four Regional Depot of the Year winners, this company has proved itself professional, helpful, customer-oriented, flexible and supportive.
